"You, brethen, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

Galatians 5:13

Capacity Building

Teacher

Jesus called you and I to make disciples, regardless of differences of ethnicity, culture, politics, or economics. At its core, discipleship is capacity building - discovering and cultivating the God-given potential of individuals and communities to learn, grow, and succeed. Partners is committed to developing people, people who are forgotten or unknown by most. By investing in basic education, vocational skills, leadership development, family enrichment, and Biblical training, we enable mature disciples who in turn raise up others.

In addition to our regular seminars and the support of many educational opportunities, Glen Totten works as the full time leadership development coach for Partners. More about our leadership development activities here.

"My name is Aw Saw Minh. I am 15 years old, and I go to school at Noh Bo Academy, a Karen high school Partners works in. My two older brothers were killed by the Burma Army so I am now the oldest. I go to school so I can have an education and learn about God. I am studying English, math, science, social studies, and the Bible. I have learned how to forgive those who killed my brothers. One day, I want to return to my village and tell others about God."
